This is a 1976 reprint of the 1967 sixth edition of the Hitopadeśa, as edited by M. R. Kale. As noted in the preface, it is nearly identical to the fifth edition, save for some updated page references.

This copy of the text, from Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama Library in Srinagar, was acquired by the library in 1977. The digital facsimile was uploaded to archive.org in 2017.
