Colophons

A colophon is a statement at the end of a manuscript, after the text completion statement. It can contain a number of different elements, such as the copy date & place or the names of scribes, owners, & editors. The list below also includes copy statements that are found elsewhere in a manuscript, such as at the beginning or on the cover.
